Mantell Associates is partnered with a highly successful biologics CDMO who is seeking a VP of Business Development to cover the UK & Ireland market. This person will play a pivotal role in driving new business acquisition, managing strategic partnerships and driving the continued clientele expansion for the business.

Business Development Director - Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for new business acquisition, key account management and strategic relationship management

  • Selling the full portfolio of CDMO services (biologics, vaccines, & CGT) to major clients

  • Display high-level consulting competence, while showing a deep understanding and working closely with customers on different challenges

  • Maintain close contact with the relevant decision-makers of your customers, in the different areas of the company

  • Acquisition of projects, control of the entire sales process

Business Development Director - Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, or a Life Science area, or an equivalent degree

  • Several years of experience in Business Development or Key Accounts management in the CDMO industry

  • Experience in converting a high degree of customer orientation and excellent advice into sales success and long-term customer relationships

  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
