Mantell Associates is partnered with an innovative CDMO on their search for a VP of Business Development, where you will be an integral member of the leadership team and responsible for the entire commercial function. You will play a key role in identifying and developing prospects to expand the portfolio and growth, through a combination of organic and inorganic focus globally. VP of Business Development Key Responsibilities:
Leading a strong Business Development team (10+ people) consisting of sales, marketing, and proposal staff
Identifying and creating sales goals & strategies to achieve these within the budget frame together with the team – aligned with the company strategy, mission and vision
Ensuring that the team is organised accordingly to reach the goals and responsibilities
Executing Business Development strategy by discovering new business segments, account strategies and technology while establishing strategic partnerships globally
Developing business relationships with existing clients through key account management
VP of Business Development Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and a PhD or MSc
5+ years of experience within the CDMO space
5+ plus years of experience leading high-performing teams
Experience across project management, business development, sales and marketing for global markets
