Mantell Associates is partnered with one of the most exciting CROs who are experiencing high levels of growth and expansion across Europe and US. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President Of Clinical Operations.
The VP of Clinical Operations will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for all clinical operations of the organisation, including clinical trials, site management, regulatory compliance, and patient recruitment. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the clinical development process, as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Vice President Of Clinical Operations Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the clinical operations strategy for the organisation, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives
Manage the clinical operations team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to team members
Oversee clinical trial design, planning, execution and closeout, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical investigators, vendors and regulatory agencies
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines and standards, and oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory documents
Develop and implement effective patient recruitment strategies to ensure enrollment targets are met
Manage clinical trial budgets, including forecasting and tracking of expenses
Work closely with other functional areas, including data management, biostatistics, and medical writing, to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of clinical trial data
Represent the organisation at industry conferences and meetings, as needed
Vice President Of Clinical Operations Requirements:
Advanced degree in a scientific discipline, such as biology, pharmacology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in clinical operations, including significant experience managing clinical trials in a pharmaceutical or biotech company
Demonstrated track record of successfully managing a clinical operations team and leading clinical trials from start to finish
Expertise in regulatory requirements and guidelines, including FDA and ICH guidelines
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to effectively manage budgets, timelines and resources
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to think strategically and tactically
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Speak fluent in German
