Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a well-established organization. They are currently looking to strengthen their Commercial team through the appointment of a SVP of Business Development.
SVP of Business Development - Responsibilities:
Responsible for the oversight of all Sales & Business Development and Marketing activities for the organization
Build Sales team personnel and resources as needed, and train new team members
Identify new business areas to break into and develop the company further
Develop and maintain long term client relationships through the use of existing networks and other sales tools, resulting in the expansion of client base
Collaborate with members of the Commercial team to ensure an excellent client experience across all client interactions, from needs assessment through to delivery and follow up
Collaborate effectively with the Marketing team to develop marketing strategies to attract and retain clients, and build awareness of company capabilities and services to generate revenue
Negotiate contracts & agreements, and generate client proposals and bids
Identify and attend key conferences for the purpose of growing company visibility
SVP of Business Development - Requirements:
Professional work experience within a Commercial function including Sales/Business Development & Key Account Management
Experience leading Commercial teams
Strong ability to build and grow networks of connections with people of all types and backgrounds
Proven track record of establishing strategic partnerships
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Independent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once
