Mantell Associates have been retained by an highly ambitious US Medical Device company on their search for a Senior Vice President of Business Development. This person will play a pivotal role in outlining and implementing an aggressive commercial growth strategy for the coming years, as the business look towards IPO.
Salary:
$300,000 + Benefits

Responsibilities:
Lead all Sales, Business Development, and Marketing initiatives for the organization
Develop the Sales team's personnel and resources, providing training to new hires as needed
Identify new business domains to expand and advance company growth
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging established networks and sales tools to grow the customer base
Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure a top-notch client experience across all interactions, from needs assessment to delivery and follow-up
Collaborate with the Marketing team to create effective marketing plans to attract and retain clients and promote the company's capabilities and services for revenue generation
Negotiate contracts and agreements, and produce proposals and bids for potential clients
Identify and participate in relevant conferences to enhance the company's visibility
Requirements:
Professional work experience within a Commercial function including Sales/Business Development & Key Account Management
Experience leading Commercial teams
Strong ability to build and grow networks of connections with people of all types and backgrounds
Proven track record of establishing strategic partnerships
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Independent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once
