Job description

​Mantell Associates have been retained by an highly ambitious US Medical Device company on their search for a Senior Vice President of Business Development. This person will play a pivotal role in outlining and implementing an aggressive commercial growth strategy for the coming years, as the business look towards IPO.

Salary:

$300,000 + Benefits

Work Style:

(Onsite // Hybrid // Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all Sales, Business Development, and Marketing initiatives for the organization

  • Develop the Sales team's personnel and resources, providing training to new hires as needed

  • Identify new business domains to expand and advance company growth

  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging established networks and sales tools to grow the customer base

  • Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure a top-notch client experience across all interactions, from needs assessment to delivery and follow-up

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create effective marketing plans to attract and retain clients and promote the company's capabilities and services for revenue generation

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, and produce proposals and bids for potential clients

  • Identify and participate in relevant conferences to enhance the company's visibility

Requirements:

  • Professional work experience within a Commercial function including Sales/Business Development & Key Account Management 

  • Experience leading Commercial teams 

  • Strong ability to build and grow networks of connections with people of all types and backgrounds

  • Proven track record of establishing strategic partnerships 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Independent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills

  • Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once
