Mantell Associates has partnered with a cutting-edge Pharmaceutical organisation to aid their search for a Senior Director of Business Development. This role will entail gaining a deep understanding of the organisation's product and service portfolio, as well as taking on responsibility for assigned customers right from the beginning.


Senior Director of Business Development - Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight for Sales, Business Development, and Marketing initiatives within the organisation

  • Emphasise the implementation of a comprehensive suite of sales solutions for customers

  • Participate in the expansion of the organisation's business areas

  • Exhibit high-level consulting skills, collaborating closely with customers to address their challenges

  • Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers across various departments in customer organisations

  • Remain attuned to customer needs and identify new opportunities to create tailored solutions

  • Manage project acquisition and oversee the entire sales process

  • Work in tandem with colleagues from different areas to develop customised solutions and encourage interdepartmental collaboration

  • Your daily work will involve close familiarisation with the company offerings, in addition to managing a portfolio of clients from the outset

Senior Director of Business Development - Requirements:

  • M.Sc in organic chemistry or MBA with BSc in organic chemistry from a reputed institute

  • At least 10 years of experience and track record in new business development in reputed CDMO companies

  • Candidate with establishing business relations from Idexx, CevaSante Animate, Virbac SA, Phibro, Dechra, Vetoquino Ascor or HIPRA is preferred

  • Professional with technical experiences in pharmaceutical industry is preferred

  • Has the rich client resources and customer relationship in the USA and Europe

  • Able to obtain USD 5M or more POs within 1 year

  • Technical Contact of cGMP/non-GMP projects from big Pharma for multi-project management is preferred

  • Highest standard of integrity and ethics

  • Result orientation and proven execution capability

  • Excellent communication skills

  • International travel readiness.
