Mantell Associates are partnered with a state of the art organisation to support their search for a Senior/Executive Director of Business Development. Your day-to-day work will be characterised by intensive familiarisation with our product and service portfolio, coupled with assuming responsibility for assigned customers right from the start.
Senior Director Business Development Responsibilities:
Oversee Sales, Business Development, and Marketing efforts for the organisation
Focus on implementing a portfolio of sales solutions for customers
Participate in business area expansion initiatives
Demonstrate high-level consulting expertise, working closely with customers to address challenges
Maintain close contact with relevant decision-makers across different departments within customer organisations
Stay informed about customer needs and identify new opportunities to develop tailored solutions
Manage project acquisition and oversee the entire sales process
Coordinate with colleagues from different areas to develop custom solutions and facilitate internal cross-departmental cooperation
Senior Director Business Development Requirements:
Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Life Science or an equivalent field
Possess several years of experience in Business Development or Key Accounts management
Able to translate excellent customer service and advice into long-term customer relationships and sales success
Possess knowledge of the pharmaceutical and drug discovery industries, including drug candidate and substance development, biology, DMPK, and pharmacology
Possess technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in drug discovery and development
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
