Mantell Associates is partnered with a biotech organisation in their search for a Regional Sales Manager.
Regional Sales Manager - Responsibilities
Achieve and exceed monthly and yearly sales goals within the assigned territory
Identify, develop, and close key opportunities within the life science research areas
Develop, implement, and maintain account strategies and proposals to drive incremental growth
Network with key decision-makers to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities
Submit accurate sales forecasts and reports
Maintain up-to-date account information within the Sales Force CRM system
Present and discuss the technology, applications, benefits, and value proposition statements
Identify & implement strategies to strengthen customer relationships utilizing internal resources
Coordinate sales efforts with Field Application Scientist (FAS) and the Service team for successful product demonstrations, sample workups, and post-sales support
Ensure success for all customer accounts
Attend trade shows, lunch & learns, and user groups
Regional Sales Manager - Requirements:
Advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 3+ years capital equipment sales experience
Successfully selling bio analytical instruments, and reagents to biotech, biopharma, and life science research labs
Expertise in Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI), Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), or ELISA is a plus
Self-motivated, sales-driven individual, well-organized in executing a sales territory plan to exceed quota
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills building rapport at all levels
Must reside within the territory and be able to travel 30 - 40%, including overnight travel. (Please indicate your location on your resume)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Sales Force, or other related CRM sales funnel tools
