Mantell Associates are thrilled to have partnered with a growing Biotech who have a pipeline of pre-clinical and clinical targets to help the lives of people with neurological disorders. They’re looking for a Principal Bioinformatician with experience across the entire drug life cycle to join them and make a real impact.

This role can be remote across the US with semi-regular travel to site in MA.

Principal Bioinformatician - Responsibilities:

• Develop and analyse bioinformatics pipelines

  Developing scripts/workflows both to automate repetitive computations and answer biological questions raised by research scientists

• Analysing large biological datasets using NGS analysis

Principal Bioinformatician - Requirements:

• PhD in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics or similar

• 2 - 4 years' industry experience in a Biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment

• Any experience with building Machine Learning models or algorithms highly advantageous

• Experience working with neurological datasets would be highly advantageous but not essential
