Mantell Associates is exclusively partnered with a European CRO who is looking to expand into the US, we are seeking a dynamic and accomplished individual to join an esteemed Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Board Member. In this crucial role, you will contribute your expertise and insights to help shape the strategic direction, provide guidance on industry trends, and ensure the organization remains at the forefront of the rapidly evolving CRO landscape.

​Responsibilities:

• Strategic Insight: Offer expert advice and strategic guidance to the Board of Directors and executive leadership team, leveraging your extensive experience and knowledge in the CRO industry

• Industry Trends: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments in the CRO space, and share your insights to help inform the organization's decision-making process

• Governance and Compliance: Collaborate with the Board of Directors and executive team to ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, as well as adherence to industry best practices

• Network Expansion: Leverage your network of industry contacts to identify potential strategic partnerships, collaborative opportunities, and avenues for business growth

• Board Meetings and Committees: Actively participate in board meetings, committee meetings, and annual general meetings, providing thoughtful input and contributing to the effective governance of the organization

• Mentorship and Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and mentorship by sharing your expertise, supporting fellow board members, and promoting a positive working environment

Requirements:

• Industry Expertise: Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in the Contract Research Organization (CRO) space, with a deep understanding of the industry landscape, trends, challenges, and opportunities

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership at a senior executive level within the CRO industry or related fields, with experience in strategy, operations, business development, or regulatory affairs

• Industry Recognition: Recognized as a thought leader and subject matter expert, with a strong reputation and network within the CRO space

• Governance Experience: Prior experience serving on boards or advisory committees, with a solid understanding of governance principles and fiduciary responsibilities

• Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and provide insightful guidance on organizational strategy and growth

• Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels

• Ethics and Integrity: Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, and accountability
