Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical organisation, who are looking for a Medical Scientific Liaison Ax (m/f/d) for the southern region of Germany.

Medical Scientific Liaison Ax - Responsibilities:

  • Independent, field-based, medical-scientific care of prescription drugs as well as medical devices
  • Field-based support in the implementation & implementation of med.-wis. Strategies and local and regional/global medical activity plans
  • Conducting medical (consultation) discussions
  • Field-based, regional, medical-scientific support for the sales and marketing team
  • Interpretation of med.-scientific. Information from clinical studies, publications and conference presentations, as well as development and collaboration on scientific publications
  • Presentation & discussion of medical-scientific data at scientific events as well as in personal scientific information exchange with opinion leaders
  • Conception, implementation and implementation of internal and external medical-scientific training courses (regional and national), further training events and advisory boards as well as participation and active support in the organization of national, international and regional congresses and symposia including congress reports and updates
  • Building relationships and maintaining very close contact with medical opinion leaders, external experts and local representatives of scientific societies
  • Support in recruiting & initiating internal and external medical-scientific projects in selected centers (e.g. clinical phase III/IV studies, NIS, IITs, etc.)
  • Qualified answers to internal and external medical-scientific inquiries


Medical Scientific Liaison Ax - Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in pharmacy, natural sciences (e.g. biology, chemistry), human medicine, possibly also relevant work experience based on completed training as a alternative practitioner or in nursing professions
  • Ideally, you already have experience as an MSL or in other positions in a medical-scientific environment
  • Experience with medical-scientific projects, publications and clinical research (Phases III / IV)
  • Strong ability to independently familiarize yourself with new indications and issues as well as goal-oriented thinking when implementing medical-scientific strategies
  • Particular strong communication skills and didactic presentation skills paired with high social skills
  • High level of organizational skills, a structured way of working, flexibility and the ability to work in a team
  • High willingness to travel. The function is approximately 80% field-based and involves approximately 20% office work
  • Business fluent, very good (technical) linguistic knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
  • Very good IT, MS Office user knowledge, especially PowerPoint
