Mantell Associates is a multi-award-winning Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical Executive Search firm based in the City of London, UK. Since being established in January 2019, Mantell Associates has grown from 1 to 50 employees, as of November 2022. Due to our huge success within the past three years, we are now expanding further in our London office.
As Management Accountant, you will provide support to the VP of Finance, providing analysis and reporting of key business metrics.
Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of core management reports; including daily sales reporting
Checking Gross Margin of orders received
Assist with month end close process
Assist with weekly forecasting process
Preparation & posting of journal entries
Variance Analysis
Any other ad-hoc requests as required
Management Accountant Candidate Experience and Qualification:
Accounting: 2-3 years (preferred).
Clear and effective communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
Previous experience with the Xero software is essential
Management Accountant Skills & Knowledge:
Intermediate with Excel
Experience of working and communicating within a fast-paced business environment
A self-starter who can proactively identify new opportunities and work with the business to make them happen
An analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to think logically
Ability to take ownership of tasks and work on own initiative
Displays attention to detail
Use of Problem-solving techniques
