Mantell Associates is an industry backed, multidiscipline global Life Science and Pharmaceutical headhunting firm focused on providing staffing solutions, in particular to the Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Large Molecule, Cell & Gene Therapy, CRO & Clinical Operations, Small Molecule, and Life Science Consulting sectors with its headquarters based in the City of London, and offices in Miami and Zug.
We are currently hiring for a Learning and Development Manager to deliver training and drive employee ongoing personal development at Mantell Associates.
The Learning and Development Manager will be an integral part of the management team and report directly to the Country MD responsible for ensuring all staff are trained and educated in our business processes, ways of working and how to execute.
You will have full autonomy in the role along with the desire to develop a first class Learning & Development function whilst enhancing existing training content and designing new content to ensure Mantell Associates stays ahead of our competitors.
Learning and Development Manager - Responsibilities:
Delivering training workshops and one to one training sessions covering all aspects of the Recruiters toolkit from Microsoft products, Bullhorn and LinkedIn.
Delivering company induction to our new starters whilst playing an integral part of our onboarding process
Responsible for ‘MA Way’ introduction and reaffirming way of working around the business
Conducting training days with specific teams and individual team members (call coaching, micro learning training sessions etc)
Working with the MD to identify skill shortages and knowledge gaps around the business
People management of new employees and imbedding them into our organisation and supporting them with their growth in the industry
Create and implement new ideas for Training and Development of both new trainees and experienced employees.
Seek and organise external training for team members whilst staying ahead of new training techniques and methods.
Learning and Development Manager - Requirements:
Previous experience within the Life Sciences recruitment space as a recruiter and experience delivering training and development programmes to employee and a clear understanding of the different ways of working under different verticals.
Track record of success in prior roles such as career advancement and progression
Ability to adapt and multi-task with attention to detail and excellent follow-through in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
Exceptional ability to build relationships with people at all levels across the business.
Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated with a ‘go-getter’ attitude and a desire to grow with learning & Development function.
