Mantell Associates has formed a partnership with an innovative global Biotech organisation who is seeking an I&C Engineer to specialise in DeltaV DCS, PLC hardware and HMI. This is a 12 month contract with occasional travel to Pennsylvania.

I&C Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Review/approval of electrical/loop drawings for OEM process/utility equipment, custom equipment skids, and stick built instrumentation created by Engineering Contractors for capital projects

• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at skid suppliers and OEMs as needed, and perform periodic QA checks during panel construction, if required

• Ensures field grounding checks of DeltaV control panels prior to power-up

• Perform loop checks and drawing verification during FATs or IQ testing on projects

• Ensures that engineering standards and guides are applied on project

I&C Engineer - Requirements:

• At least 5 years in the Pharma industry preferred

• Technical expertise on DeltaV DCS and PLC hardware and HMI hardware

• Technical expertise on all types of instrumentation used in the Pharma industry

• Familiar with system networking

• Strong vendor management skills

• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Available for occasional travel to Pennsylvania
