Histology Manger – Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine and special histological procedures involving specimen accessioning, grossing, processing, embedding, sectioning, staining (routine and special)
Design and recommend processes, systems, and operational changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Evaluate, modify, or develop procedures to meet special requirements of particular research studies
Maintain accurate records of all specimens worked with and Documentation of all work progress in the Lab
Histology Manager – Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in science
4+ years of experience managing a team
Strong technical knowledge and a deep understanding of the theory of Histology techniques and procedures
NY State license – Laboratory Technologist preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
