Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a leading Pharma company based in the UK, in their search for a Head of Pharmacy services.
Head of Pharmacy Services - Responsibilities:
Manage the Pharmacy Services department, ensuring the team are well motivated, appropriately trained, customer focussed, cost conscious, quality driven, proactive, reliable and efficient.
Proactively initiate discussions with customers regarding improved and enhanced ways of working and formulation design, development and improvement.
Ensure the Pharmacy Services team provide a professional clinical support service to external and internal customers.
Act as the organisations Responsible Person, ensuring requirements of Good Distribution Practice are complied.
Produce and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all activities associated with the ‘Prescription Management’ and ‘Dispensing’ processes.
Head of Pharmacy Services - Requirements:
Registered Pharmacist with experience in aseptic compounding and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Clinical background in the prescribing of adult, neonatal and paediatric parenteral nutrition, together with detailed knowledge of PN regimen formulation and stability considerations.
Detailed knowledge of the legal requirements for prescription management in accordance with the RPSGB.
Previous managerial experience.
Experience in storage and distribution of medical products.
