Job description

Mantell Associates is currently partnered with an exciting Medical Devices organisation on their search for a Field Application Scientist, Osmolality to join their growing team.

Field Application Scientist, Osmolality - Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong reputation within Biopharma, for the organisation's product line

  • Lead customer demonstration programs for the product line to support the local sales team in generating and closing opportunities

  • Training of team members on the products, applications and use-cases and newly published papers/data, and ensure the sales team understands how to position effectively to customers

  • Present at, and attend relevant conferences.

  • Build strong customer relationships including KOL's

  • Collaborate with the team to support use case expansion of osmolality into cell line development

  • Generate collateral including white papers and manage sales-initiated collaborations with customers

  • Initiate and support customer collaboration for the purpose of data generation that supports growth in prioritised application areas, and target customer types

  • In close partnership with marketing and product team, lead technical aspects of new product introductions to ensure sales team and distributors are excited and comfortable with the new product value proposition

  • Support and drive the Sales Cycle in collaboration with the sales team

  • Participate in market feedback for next generation product development from a competitive and customer VOC perspective

  • Run customer samples to support product adoption into key accounts

  • Develop in-depth expertise of local competitive technologies to support sales strategies

Field Application Scientist, Osmolality - Requirements:

  • BS or higher degree in Life Sciences

  • Familiarity with osmolality and its use within the bioprocessing workflows being advantageous

  • Excellent planning, organisational, prioritisation skills and feels comfortable working in a team environment

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or other similar CRM

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to use basic office equipment: computer, printer, copier, telephone, etc.

  • Must have a driver's license

  • Must be capable of clearly communicating with customers and colleagues

  • Willing to travel 50% of the time in the European region
