Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a well-established organisation. They are currently looking to strengthen their Commercial team through the appointment of a Executive Director of Business Development Biologics CDMO USA.


Executive Director of Business Development - Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Sales, Business Development, and Marketing activities for the organisation

  • Build and train Sales team members and allocate necessary resources

  • Identify and explore new business areas to expand the company

  • Foster long-term relationships with clients, using existing networks and sales tools to increase the client base

  • Ensure exceptional client experience across all touchpoints by effectively leading the Commercial team

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to create effective marketing strategies that attract and retain clients, raise awareness of company capabilities and services, and generate revenue

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, and prepare client proposals and bids

  • Attend important conferences to increase the company's visibility


Executive Director of Business Development - Requirements:

  • Possess professional experience working in commercial functions such as Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management

  • Have experience in leading and managing commercial teams

  • Exhibit strong networking skills and ability to establish connections with people from diverse backgrounds

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships

  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Exhibit independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable with utilising technology as an integral part of the sales process

  • Possess highly organised and detail-oriented traits, capable of managing multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously
