Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a leading Medical Devices organisation in their search for an Event Coordinator EMEA.
Event Coordinator - Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management and the coordination of all external and internal events organized or co-organized in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Close collaboration with direct sales leaders and sales teams, corporate marketing team, product management team and distributors across both Biopharma and Clinical businesses
Event management and coordination (external and internal events): Manage and coordinate the organization of all international, national, and regional exhibitions, symposiums, conferences, webinars, internal sales team and distributor meetings, training activities, team building activities, excellence center and ambassador program activities, co-marketing activities, promotional campaigns, workshops, etc. to support our direct and our indirect businesses in EMEA
Project Management: Meticulously plan, manage and coordinate all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, vendor negotiations, selecting, booking and preparing exhibition spaces, designing exhibition spaces, ordering goodies, posters, banners and marketing collaterals, organizing the logistics, building and dismantling the exhibition spaces, promoting the events internally and externally, creating event roadbooks, booking hotels, meeting rooms, transportation, catering, audio, video, doing post-event follow-ups and evaluations (lead routing, awareness and conversion, event scoring, feedback collection), etc.
Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with business leaders in charge of direct and indirect sales, distributors, corporate marketing, product management, finance, logistics, etc. teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the events
Problem Solving: Proactively anticipate potential challenges and solutions in advance to ensure smooth event execution
Reporting: Provide regular updates on event progress, outcomes, and feedback to senior management and relevant stakeholders
Social Media: Actively participate in building and nurturing a robust community of followers on LinkedIn and making EMEA event activities visible to the external world
Cross-Platform Integration: Ensure that event promotions and content are integrated across other platforms such as emails, inside sales campaigns, etc. for maximum reach and engagement
Event Coordinator - Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field
Proven experience in international event coordination, preferably in the Biopharma and Clinical sectors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (fluent English in required in this role)
Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, go-getter and solution-driven attitude
Strong project management skills with great attention to detail
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to anticipate problems and devise effective solutions
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel as required
Social media expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing and growing LinkedIn communities, with a track record of creating engaging educational content
Ability to work with Salesforce.com (CRM)
