Job description

Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a specialist Process Automation organisation, who automate systems in the areas of pharmaceutical, bio and food technology. They are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team, offering plenty of space for professional development as well as an appreciative and pleasant working atmosphere.

Electrical Engineer - Responsibilities:

  • Design planning, basic and detailed engineering as well as implementation planning of the hardware

  • Design and specification of MSR components including sensors, actuators, control cabinets, assemblies as well as control and control systems (PCS/PLC)

  • Planning and implementation of the use of materials and equipment

  • Support in determining the assembly processes, monitoring the electrical assembly/commissioning at the customer's site, scheduling and monitoring

  • Metrological and electrical technical acceptance

  • Carrying out I/O tests including bus commissioning

  • Creation of the final EMSR documentation

Electrical Engineer - Requirements:

  • Sound technical training or studies in the areas of electrical engineering, MSR or automation technology

  • Several years of professional experience in EMSR technology

  • Experience in using CAD/CAE systems (EPLAN P8, ACAD, etc.)

  • Knowledge of a PLC control desirable

  • Knowledge of the valid regulations (VDE, etc.)

  • Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and a high level of customer orientation

  • Independent, responsible work

  • Good knowledge of German and English
