Commercial Excellence Manager - Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective commercial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, taking into consideration market dynamics, competition, and customer needs.
Sales Performance Optimization: Analyze sales data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for improvement. Lead efforts to optimize sales processes, forecast accuracy, and overall sales performance across the organization.
Market Access and Pricing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise pricing strategies and market access plans, ensuring products' availability to target patient populations while complying with regulations and achieving financial objectives.
Customer Engagement: Design and implement customer engagement programs to enhance relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and other stakeholders. Foster strong partnerships and leverage customer insights to drive commercial success.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to the sales and marketing teams, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and adapt to changing market conditions.
Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key commercial performance metrics. Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate insights and progress to senior management, highlighting successes and areas requiring attention.
Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes that could impact the company's commercial operations. Use this information to make informed decisions and guide commercial strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Sales, to align commercial initiatives, foster a cohesive team environment, and maximize business outcomes.
Budget Management: Manage the commercial excellence budget efficiently, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve business objectives.
Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all commercial activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and compliance.
Commercial Excellence Manager - Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a commercial management role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record of driving business growth and implementing successful commercial strategies.
In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Arabian pharmaceutical market, healthcare system, and regulatory environment.
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights to support decision-making.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards shared goals.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical market access, pricing, and reimbursement processes is highly desirable.
Fluency in both English and Arabic languages is required
