Mantell Associates is partnered with a incredible Cell and Gene Therapy CRDMO. This organisation is responsible of over 12 sites around the globe with focus on timeliness and accuracy in every stage of the development of the product.
They are now on a mission to expand further across the US and are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and self-motivated individual to assist with the needs of the growing team. The Chief Human Resources Officer will be responsible for recruitment as a whole, in support of personnel needed in the EU & US, also including employee onboarding, administering pay, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position will work closely with the Accounting Department and leadership team to understand and execute the company's human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it related to current and future hiring needs, retention, and succession planning.
Chief Human Resources Officer Responsibilities:
Recruit suitable candidates for hire as instructed by relevant departments, providing guidance of job descriptions
Work with VP of Marketing, Sales & Business Development and the sites to raise visibility of needed hires
Creating and managing recruitment plans including attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews and maintaining required personnel files
Creating, updating and applying all HR policies and company guidelines and making sure they adhere to federal and local law
Creating onboarding plans and educating new hire employees on HR policies, internal procedures
Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval, and initiating activities
Evaluating employee performance and appraising pay scale accordingly
Taking disciplinary action against employees where appropriate and addressing employee grievances
Chief Human Resources Officer Requirments:
Bachelor’s Degree required, with a preference in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 9 years of experience of human resource management in the Life Sciences field
Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills
Ability to effectively work across teams, levels and countries
Ability to identify areas for efficiency improvements and create change where necessary
