Mantell Associates are partnered with an innovative biologics CDMO who are searching for a Chief Commercial Officer to lead their commercial organisation. This organisation differentiate themselves from other businesses with their technology platforms and manufacturing capabilities. The CCO will oversee everything related to sales activity within the business and lead the organisation towards becoming a major player in the US market. The business plans to launch an IPO in the next five years and need the right commercial leader to achieve this objective.
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) - Responsibilities:
Top to bottom responsibility of the Commercial function, including P&L oversight
Display high level leadership and implement new sales processes across the organisation
Close contract development and manufacturing deals on multi-year contracts, from identification through to signed agreement
Oversee and maintain global accounts and customer base
Deliver on revenue targets and lead the organisation toward exit plan
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) - Requirements:
Degree within a life sciences related discipline
Proven commercial leader within the US biologics CDMO space
Demonstrated track record in leading and growing high performance sales teams
Experience negotiating and closing high value contracts
Experience doing international business with cultural versatility
