Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the successful commercialization of the new product, including market research, pricing, distribution, and marketing plans
Lead the fundraising efforts of the company, including developing and maintaining relationships with investors, negotiating deals, and securing funding
Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals, including scientists, sales and marketing, finance, and operations personnel, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
Ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Monitor industry trends, developments, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition and identify new opportunities for growth
Serve as the public face of the company, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and other forums, and establishing relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulatory agencies, and customers
Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors on the company's progress and financial performance, and work closely with the Board to set strategic goals and priorities
Requirements:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in a scientific or business-related field
10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role in the biotech industry, with a proven track record of success in bringing products to market
Experience in fundraising, including negotiating deals with investors and securing funding
Strong understanding of the drug development process, including regulatory requirements and clinical trials
Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing team of professionals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive innovation
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take calculated risks and make sound business decisions
