Mantell Associates is partnered with a reputable organisation to aid their search for a Business Development Director. As part of your daily tasks, you will become familiar with the organisation's range of products and services, and be responsible for managing assigned customers from the start.
Business Development Manager - Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing all Sales, Business Development, and Marketing efforts for the organisation
Focus on implementing innovative sales solutions for the company's customers
Lead the expansion of the company's business domain
Demonstrate exceptional consulting skills and a comprehensive understanding of customers' challenges
Keep up-to-date with critical customer inquiries, identify emerging needs and challenges early on, and show how to address them on a personalised basis
Lead project procurement and oversee the entire sales process
Collaborate with colleagues from diverse departments to create customised solutions and coordinate joint activities. Internal interdepartmental collaboration will be a key aspect of the job
Business Development Manager - Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, or a related field in Life Sciences, or hold an equivalent degree
Prior experience in Business Development or Key Account Management
Demonstrated ability to translate customer-oriented approaches and exceptional advisory skills into successful sales and cultivate lasting customer relationships
Knowledge of the biotech and pharmaceutical industries
Technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in the field of drug discovery and development
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
