Job description

Mantell Associates has partnered with a reputable API CDMO to aid them in their search for a Business Development Manager. Your daily tasks will involve becoming familiar with their range of products and services, as well as being accountable for assigned customers from the outset.

Business Development Manager - Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Sales, Business Development, and Marketing efforts

  • Concentrate on innovative sales solutions that the company deploys for its customers

  • Engage in the expansion of the business domain

  • Exhibit superior consulting skills and a comprehensive understanding of your customers' challenges

  • Stay up-to-date with the inquiries that are crucial to your customers, and identify emerging needs and challenges early on, while demonstrating how to address them on a personalised basis

  • Procurement of projects and oversight of the complete sales process

  • Assist in creating customised solutions, engaging with colleagues from diverse departments, and coordinating joint activities - internal interdepartmental collaboration will also be a key aspect of your job

Business Development Manager - Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, or a Life Science area, or an equivalent degree

  • Experience selling Biologics on EC (some small molecules pDNA/mRNA)

  • Previous account management of large pharma

  • 2 years experience in Business Development or Key Accounts management

  • Experience in converting a high degree of customer orientation and excellent advice into sales success and long-term customer relationships

  • Technical market knowledge and subject matter expertise

  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
