Mantell Associates is partnered with a rapidly growing organisation who is searching for a Business Development Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow our preclinical CRO business
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships with key clients in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients
Provide strategic guidance to our sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market dynamics to ensure we remain competitive in the preclinical CRO space
Attend conferences and networking events to represent the company and build relationships with potential clients
Expanding territory across the whole of Scandinavia
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the preclinical CRO industry
Demonstrated track record of developing and closing new business opportunities
Strong knowledge of preclinical research services and the drug development process
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers in the industry
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Willingness to travel as needed
Fluent in either Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish or Danish
