Business Development Director - Responsibilities
To support the growth in the area of advanced therapies, specifically focused around plasmid DNA and other manufacturing service areas
Integrate and contribute to the strategic growth of the business by using areas marketing and strategic sales
Identify new leads and follow up with these and bring on new business in a proactive hunter role, someone that is comfortable with winning new business and being a self starter from the moment you step through the door
Acquisition of new and differing projects in terms of scope, controlling the sales process from conception to delivery
Business Development Director - Requirements
Bachelors (and preferable Masters) based in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or similar educational background
Minimum of 5 years commercial business development experience at (bio)pharmaceutical organizations, ideally in the CDMO sector
More than 3 years experience in the field of plasmid DNA manufacturing services, mRNA or cell and gene therapy
Proven track record in the commercial space in relevant CDMO settings
Enjoys being part of a growing and already established international organization, comfortable with speaking to new customers and can build long lasting professional relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication as well as technical presentation skills to some of the largest names in the Biotechnology space
