Mantell Associates is partnered with a reputable Biotech and aims to strengthen its Commercial team by appointing a Director of Business Development.

Business Development Director - Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Sales, Business Development and Marketing initiatives for the organisation

  • Manage the company's sales solutions portfolio to meet customer needs

  • Contribute to expanding the business area

  • Demonstrate exceptional consulting skills and collaborate closely with customers to tackle various challenges

  • Maintain regular contact with key decision-makers across all departments of customer companies

  • Keep up-to-date with customer queries and identify emerging needs and challenges, providing individual solutions

  • Acquire projects and oversee the entire sales process

  • Customise solutions by coordinating with colleagues from diverse fields and organising joint activities. Cross-departmental cooperation within the organisation will also be crucial

Business Development Director - Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals or a related Life Science field, or possess an equivalent qualification

  • Have multiple years of experience in Business Development or Key Accounts management within the Biotech industry

  • Ability to leverage customer-centricity and expert guidance to achieve sales targets and foster enduring customer relationships

  • Possess knowledge of the Biotech and Pharmaceutical sectors

  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and a deep understanding of drug discovery and development

  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
