Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading Biopharmaceutical organisation who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Professional to join their Biosimilars Sales Team reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.
You will work closely with the cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's brand image, engage with target audiences, and increase brand awareness. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, key account management, entrepreneurship, and strong territory management skills.
Biosimilars Field Specialist - Responsibilities:
Achieve quarterly and annual territory sales objectives through the management of external (HCP's, retail/hospital pharmacy/buying groups/key accounts) and internal stakeholders (Marketing/Finance/Sales)
Identify new business opportunities and seek competitive market intelligence in order to maximize growth potential
Achieve annual sales revenue targets and market share for a designated territory
Optimally manage territory budgets
Deliver the marketing message consistently in a variety of settings using clear and concise communication to designated customers
Strategically execute the territory business plan, achieving the objectives for live CME, eCME's and Group Sell Activities for each promoted brand product
Complete administrative duties including timely and accurate expense reporting, training and adherence to corporate compliance regulations, creating and updating target physician lists, and fulfilling legal requirements for speaker compensation at continuing education programs.
Regularly record call activity in company CRM
Develop strong relationships with Advanced Practice Providers, Gatekeepers, Pharmacists and Nurse Practitioners
Develop speakers and Key Opinion Leaders and work with Teaching Hospitals Medical students.
Recognize and report adverse events (AEs) and product quality complaints (PQCs) in line with prescribed procedures and timelines
Build and strengthen business opportunities by effectively leveraging targeting and segmentation of HCPs and Account staff, working in collaboration with National Account Managers to ensure optimal HCP/Account alignment
Biosimilars Field Specialist - Requirements:
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing in English is required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required
A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience preferred
Related experience and/or education may be considered
Basic CCPE course completion is required
Demonstrated understanding and of pharmaceutical industry and of government regulations, restrictions and formulary policies is required
Previous experience and knowledge in managing a geographic territory, planning, and maintaining a call cycle is required
Sales experience in the areas of Oncology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Immunology and Insulins is preferred
Strong customer service, negotiation, time management, organizational, and analytical skills
Entrepreneurial with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office Salesforce.com/Veeva
Familiar with videoconferencing/ virtual technology (i.e. Zoom; Microsoft Teams)
Proactive, goal-oriented, and proven team player who can work independently and with a team to achieve objectives
Flexible and adaptable to ever-changing environments
Business travel dependent on location of customers and territory size; occasional evening and weekend work is required
