​Mantell Associates is currently representing a leading Life Science Consultancy in an incredibly exciting period of growth for the business, looking for an Associate Partner to support their capabilities and continue their growth.

Associate Partner - Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Play growing role in delivering revenue for the life sciences practice. Lead specific business development efforts in life sciences with key existing/new client introductions. Maintain/grow network of clients in large and mid-size pharma. Develop compelling propositions, proposals and pitches, with appropriate support and leverage

  • Client Delivery: Lead relationships with life sciences clients, being a trusted advisor to executives. Understand their unique challenges and objectives, providing expert advice, and delivering innovative solutions to drive their success. Ensure high quality relationship with clients and successful delivery of high-quality work, consistent with our values and all compliance requirements in life sciences.

  • Strategy Development: Contribute to the overall life sciences strategy, based on an understanding of market trends and client needs. Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion in the life sciences industry. Constantly prioritise the areas of biggest impact and opportunity to allow us to make best use of our capabilities to maximise the impact and commercial success we have in the industry

  • Thought Leadership: Raise the profile of the company across the industry in the key thematic areas we focus on. Establish yourself as expert thought leaders in the life sciences space through publications, speaking engagements, and participation in industry events.

  • People leadership: Mentor, and develop a team of talented healthcare consultants, especially with a passion for life sciences. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other partners and teams within the consultancy to leverage synergies and cross-functional expertise

  • Corporate contribution: Be a key member of the senior leadership team, leading in a specific corporate area

Associate Partner - Responsibilities:

  • Global experience in the life sciences industry, with significant experience within management consulting or related fields

  • Proven track record of successfully developing life sciences clients with business at the level of £1m+

  • Network within life sciences with the ability to leverage those relationships to secure new clients

  • In-depth knowledge of the life sciences sector, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare services

  • Expertise in value & access, evidence generation, medical and/or health economics and outcomes research especially in the area 3 years pre and post launch

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and trends in the life sciences industry

  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent

  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
