Job description

Mantell Associates is currently partnered with an innovative CDMO in their search for an ARND Scientist I.

ARND Scientist I - Responsibilities:

  • Solve synthetic problems with minimal supervision

  • Execute validation and development activities

  • Understanding of small molecules and APIs

  • Perform routine analytical procedures to monitor reaction progress (i.e. TLC, GC, NMR, HPLC, KF)

  • Design multi-step synthetic process from commercially available starting materials to target compounds

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment with supervision

  • Write project documentation (developmental reports and protocols) of medium complexity with supervision

  • Establish and coordinate activities at contract chemical and analytical laboratories, as required

  • Execute all activities in compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, GLP/GMP, and legal requirements

ARND Scientist I - Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biology, or other related discipline (e.g., physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, Biochemistry)

  • MS with 7+ years of relevant experience, or BS with 10+ years of relevant experience will also be considered

  • In depth understanding of analytical techniques and methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, CF)
