The first stage of the MA candidate journey is qualifying a position. Our dedicated team works closely with the organisations we are partnered with across the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences space, as well as new clients, and agrees to work on specific positions within their business units.

We work with high-profile clients across the Biotech, Pharmaceutical, CDMO/CMO, CRO, Medical Device, HEOR, Market Access & Commercial Strategy sectors, primarily on Senior level appointments.The first step is finding out their business needs and how Mantell Associates can assist with their search.

Once we have a position we will be working on, we fully qualify the position with the client 'the MA way'. This ensures that we find out exactly what they are looking for, including:

  • Expectations for the role and the ideal candidate

  • What the role requires, both short and long-term

  • Job description vs. what's actually important

  • Company culture and who would be a good fit

After we have qualified the position with the client and have terms of business in place, we will begin to put together a shortlist of candidates to contact who are well-qualified and suited to the role.
