Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a Pharmaceutical  organisation in their search for a Team Lead Clinical Development. 

 

Team Lead Clinical Development – Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and mentor a team of clinical scientists and associates, providing strategic and operational oversight of clinical development programs.
  • Design and manage clinical study protocols, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, scientific goals, and company objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory affairs, biostatistics, data management, and medical affairs to ensure seamless trial execution.
  • Monitor trial progress and performance metrics, proactively addressing risks and ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide scientific and clinical expertise to support regulatory submissions, clinical study reports (CSRs), and investigator brochures (IBs).
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging science, contributing to innovation in trial design, patient-centric approaches, and evidence generation.

 

Team Lead Clinical Development -Requirements:

 

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or pharmacy (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD) with a focus on clinical research or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Deep understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
  • Proven experience in leading Phase I–III trials across multiple therapeutic areas, preferably in oncology, rare diseases, or immunology.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in clinical trial software and tools (e.g., EDC, CTMS, eTMF), and familiarity with data-driven decision-making.
