As part of their strategic growth and operational excellence agenda, they are seeking a seasoned Site Director to lead and manage a key regional facility. This role offers the opportunity to drive performance, foster a culture of compliance and innovation, and represent the company as a senior leader within the region.
Site Director – Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for all site functions including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, EHS, and engineering
- Ensure adherence to global regulatory standards, internal quality policies, and industry best practices
- Develop and execute site‑based strategies that support business objectives, operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing, diverse team aligned with organisational values
- Champion a strong culture of safety, quality, integrity, and employee engagement
- Drive efficient resource allocation, budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with global and regional functions
- Act as the key executive liaison with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective community relations
Site Director – Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MSc)
- Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in senior site leadership within pharmaceutical manufacturing or related regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of GMP, QMS and regulatory requirements relevant to the Middle East and global markets
- Demonstrated success in driving operational performance, quality excellence, and people leadership
- Excellent strategic thinker with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment and travel within the region as required
- Residency or willingness to relocate to the Middle East
