Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading Biopharmaceutical company, who is seeking an experienced Senior Purification Analyst to join its production team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale protein purification processes in a GMP-regulated environment, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in biopharmaceutical production.
Senior Purification Analyst – Responsibilities:
- Execute purification operations according to established process parameters and GMP requirements, ensuring product quality and process consistency
- Operate purification equipment, monitor performance, and document all activities accurately in compliance with manufacturing protocols
- Verify preparation and conditioning of materials required for production stages
- Participate in maintenance services, validation, and qualification of purification equipment and systems
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives by analyzing historical data and identifying optimization opportunities
- Report any deviations, out-of-specification results, or technical issues promptly to supervisors
- Contribute to the preparation and investigation of Quality Events and documentation updates
- Lead purification area activities in the absence of the Supervisor, ensuring operational continuity
- Collaborate closely with suppliers, overseeing on-site activities and providing technical input when needed
- Recommend process and documentation improvements for enhanced efficiency and compliance
- Mentor junior and mid-level analysts, supporting their development and ensuring adherence to quality standards
Senior Purification Analyst – Requirements:
- Technical or university degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific field (completed or in final stages)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in protein purification or related biotechnological processes
- Strong understanding of biotechnological manufacturing, protein purification principles, and chromatographic equipment operation
- Experience with process validation, GMP environments, and quality documentation management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard laboratory software tools
- Intermediate to advanced technical English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, leadership potential, and excellent communication skills
