​Senior Director of Business DevelopmentResponsibilities:

  • Aggressively pursue business opportunities, via prospecting

  • Building strong client relationships

  • Forging new business partnerships by nurturing and qualifying leads

  • Maintaining high visibility within networking and trade organizations within the defined territory.

  • Identify industry and customer needs and actively contribute to provide solutions that will generate value for the customer.

  • Be the key point between Client & Business.

  • Lead the initiative to introduce new projects and business opportunities, business strategies both at existing and new accounts.

Senior Director of Business Development Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as BD with proven track record in Drug Discovery

  • Industry knowledge concerning pharmaceuticals, drug development or biology

  • Entrepreneurial disposition, energetic and takes personal responsibility in accomplishing the objectives of the business.

  • Strong “hunting” skills

  • The ability to inspire customer confidence, and develop strong client to business relationships

  • The ability to effectively engage in discussions with procurement, technical, chemical and pharmaceutical scientists in order to generate business opportunities.

  • Strong relationship building skills across disciplines (technical, commercial and management).

  • Persistence to effectively spearhead internal progression and developing, even while under considerable stress
