Mantell Associates is partnered with an innovative dermatology company, who are searching for a Medical Scientific Liaison specialising in Aesthetics.

Medical Scientific Liaison – Responsibilities:

• Provide scientific, clinical and medical support for key account managers and the field-based sales force, behaving as a credible partner to support their immediate needs through nonpromotional scientific exchange, education, presentations, and other engagement
• Develop and maintain professional and trustful relationships with key opinion/ thought leaders (KOLs/KTLs) and academic centres to ensure access to current medical and scientific information on areas of therapeutic interest
• Develop, maintain, and share internally and externally an in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic area and Aesthetic portfolio
• Develop and implement effective medical tactics to increase scientific awareness and confidence in products among health care providers
• Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians, healthcare providers and other stakeholders as needed
• Identify, develop, and maintain contact with local, regional and national key opinion leaders and experts through internally approved field engagement plans
• Contribute to identify physicians, investigators, healthcare providers and administrative stakeholders requiring support from MSL with the aim to increase the diversity profiles of our, KOLs/ KTLs, HCPs
• Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the Dermatology & Aesthetics’ fields
• Gather and generate actionable insights by attending congresses, engaging with external stakeholders, staying current in relevant scientific literature, following influencers on social media, preparing summaries, and presenting key insights and perspectives to cross-functional teams

Medical Scientific Liaison – Requirements:

• Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing or higher degree qualification (e.g. MSc, PhD) in life sciences field  
• Dermatology/Aesthetics experience (essential)
• 2 years experience related to medical pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices industry
• Demonstrated experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at a variety of levels and different audiences
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
• Ability to develop good relationships and credibility with medical professionals
• 20% travel requirement
