Mantell Associates has partnered with a reputable organisation who is now seeking to reinforce their Commercial team by appointing a Vice President of Business Development.
Business Development Director - Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight for Sales, Business Development, and Marketing activities of the company
Build and train Sales team, ensuring adequate resources for effective execution of goals
Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's reach and impact
Foster long-term relationships with clients using existing networks and other sales tools to grow the client base
Ensure excellent client experience throughout all interactions by collaborating with members of the Commercial team
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop strategies for attracting and retaining clients and raising awareness of the company's services to increase revenue
Negotiate contracts, generate client proposals and bids, and close deals to meet business objectives
Attend and participate in key conferences to enhance company visibility and identify new opportunities
Business Development Director - Requirements:
Demonstrated professional experience in Sales/Business Development and Key Account Management within a Commercial function
Leadership experience in Commercial teams
Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Proven track record of successfully establishing strategic partnerships
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
Comfortable utilising technology as a key part of the sales process
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
