Mantell Associates is partnered with a reputable organisation and aims to strengthen its Commercial team by appointing a Director of Business Development.
Business Development Director - Responsibilities:
Oversee all Sales, Business Development, and Marketing activities for the organisation
Focus on the portfolio of sales solutions implemented for customers
Participate in expanding the organisation's business areas
Demonstrate high-level consulting expertise and a deep understanding of customer challenges, working closely with them to address their needs
Maintain close contact with key decision-makers at customer organisations across different departments
Stay informed about customer needs, anticipate new challenges, and offer customised solutions
Lead project acquisition and oversee the entire sales process
Collaborate with colleagues from various areas to develop tailored solutions and encourage internal cross-departmental cooperation
Business Development Director - Requirements:
Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Life Sciences, or a related field
Possess several years of experience in Business Development or Key Account Management
Demonstrated ability to translate customer orientation and expert advice into sales success and long-term customer relationships
Have knowledge of the pharmaceutical and drug discovery industries, including drug candidate and substance development, biology, DMPK, and pharmacology
Possess technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in drug discovery and development
Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
