Mantell Associates is partnered with a rapidly growing health-tech company specialising in AI-powered solutions for digital pathology and medical imaging, who is looking to hire an experienced Account Executive to support expansion across the German market.

This role is well suited to a consultative sales professional who understands complex healthcare environments and is motivated by the impact of AI-driven innovation on diagnostics and patient outcomes.

 

Account Executive – Responsibilities:

  • Drive commercial growth across Germany by selling AI-based digital pathology and medical imaging solutions to hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, research institutes, and healthcare networks
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to contract negotiation and deal closure
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders including pathologists, laboratory managers, IT leaders, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and clearly communicate the clinical, operational, and economic value of AI-enabled pathology solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure tailored proposals and smooth customer onboarding
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipeline forecasts, and report on sales performance against targets
  • Represent the company at industry events, congresses, and customer meetings throughout Germany
  • Gather market and customer insights to inform product development and commercial strategy

 

Account Executive – Requirements:

  • 3-6+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within health technology, digital pathology, medical imaging, AI software, or SaaS
  • Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals within healthcare or life sciences environments
  • Strong understanding of the German healthcare landscape, including hospital systems, diagnostic laboratories, and research organisations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and clinical stakeholders
  • Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working autonomously in a hybrid, field-based role
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing structured sales pipelines
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Based in Germany, with willingness to travel nationally as required
