Mantell Associates has collaborated with a respected company who is currently looking to strengthen its Commercial team by hiring a Vice President of Business Development.
VP Business Development - Responsibilities:
Oversee Sales, Business Development, and Marketing activities for the organisation
Build and train Sales team personnel as needed
Identify new business opportunities to expand the company's reach
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships utilising existing networks and sales tools to grow the client base
Collaborate with Commercial team members to ensure excellent client experience throughout the entire customer journey, from needs assessment to follow-up
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop effective strategies that attract and retain clients, and raise awareness of the company's capabilities to generate revenue
Negotiate contracts and agreements, as well as prepare and present client proposals and bids
Identify and participate in key conferences and events to increase the company's visibility.
VP Business Development - Requirements:
Possess professional work experience in a Commercial function, including Sales/Business Development and Key Account Management
Demonstrate experience in leading Commercial teams
Strong ability to build and expand networks with individuals of diverse backgrounds
Proven track record of establishing strategic partnerships
Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exhibit independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Comfortable and confident in utilising technology as a key component of the sales process
Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously.
