Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a reputable Biologics CDMO in their search for a Vice President (VP) of Sales, leading a sales team.
VP of Sales - Responsibilities
Establish, develop, and close business deals
Direct outreach initiatives to potential partners, evaluate opportunities and negotiate contract terms
Proactively identify and lead strategic partnership or collaborative research and/or in-licensing/out-licensing opportunities with biotech and pharmaceutical companies
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, potential collaboration partners, and other high value business relationships in line with the company's vision, strategy, and long-term plans
Hold responsibility for driving the company's strategic BD & growth plans
Stay up to date with competitive intelligence, keeping abreast of research and development in this field
Leading and developing a sales team with the aim of driving the business forward and growing the commercial function
VP of Sales - Requirements:
Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Life Science or an equivalent field
Possess several years of experience in Sales or Business Development within the CDMO industry
Previous leadership experience needed
Possess strong industry knowledge and network
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
