Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a reputable Biologics CDMO in their search for a Vice President (VP) of Sales, leading a sales team.


VP of Sales - Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and close business deals

  • Direct outreach initiatives to potential partners, evaluate opportunities and negotiate contract terms

  • Proactively identify and lead strategic partnership or collaborative research and/or in-licensing/out-licensing opportunities with biotech and pharmaceutical companies

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, potential collaboration partners, and other high value business relationships in line with the company's vision, strategy, and long-term plans

  • Hold responsibility for driving the company's strategic BD & growth plans

  • Stay up to date with competitive intelligence, keeping abreast of research and development in this field

  • Leading and developing a sales team with the aim of driving the business forward and growing the commercial function


VP of Sales - Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Life Science or an equivalent field

  • Possess several years of experience in Sales or Business Development within the CDMO industry

  • Previous leadership experience needed

  • Possess strong industry knowledge and network

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
