Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading Neuroscience Clinical Stage Biotech organisation who is now seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Clinical Operations to enhance its Clinical Operations team.
SVP of Clinical Operations - Responsibilities:
Offer leadership and strategic oversight to meet resourcing and budgeting objectives
Develop and execute the clinical operations strategy for the organisation, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives
Oversee and grow the clinical operations team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
Oversee clinical trial design, planning, execution and closeout, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Work closely with other functional areas, including data management, biostatistics, and medical writing, to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of clinical trial data
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical investigators, vendors and regulatory agencies
Represent all aspects of Clinical Operations and provide necessary updates to the Executive Committee and Project Teams
Collaborate closely with the rest of the senior leadership team to provide oversight and strategic development within the Clinical function
SVP of Clinical Operations - Requirements:
Advanced degree in a scientific discipline, such as biology, pharmacology, or a related field
Extensive Clinical Research experience required
Prior experience in a CRO, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology settings
Demonstrated track record of successfully managing a clinical operations team and leading clinical trials from start to finish
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the capability to manage multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to effectively manage budgets, timelines and resources
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
