Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a well-established organization. They are currently looking to strengthen their Commercial team through the appointment of a SVP of Business Development.

 SVP of Business Development - Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the large molecule space, including partnerships, collaborations, licensing agreements, and acquisitions

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, investors, and industry experts

  • Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute business development opportunities, including conducting due diligence, negotiating terms, and overseeing integration efforts

  • Identify and monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies

 

SVP of Business Development - Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced degree (PhD, MD) preferred

  • At least 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on large molecule business development

  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and executing on large molecule business development opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions

  • Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex business plans
