SVP of Business Development - Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the large molecule space, including partnerships, collaborations, licensing agreements, and acquisitions
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, investors, and industry experts
Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute business development opportunities, including conducting due diligence, negotiating terms, and overseeing integration efforts
Identify and monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies
SVP of Business Development - Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced degree (PhD, MD) preferred
At least 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on large molecule business development
Proven track record of successfully identifying and executing on large molecule business development opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions
Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex business plans
