Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading CDMO in their search for a Supply Chain Manager to lead and supervise their Supply Chain team.
Supply Chain Manager - Responsibilities:
Manage Supply Chain Officers including defining roles and responsibilities, performance management, motivation and supervision of the following activities
Evaluate the addition of new suppliers onto supplier list, and ensure correct purchasing specifications for raw materials, starting materials and consumables
Liaise with manufacturing, PD and Innovation teams to ensure planning processes are in place to ensure sufficient stock and supply of materials
Order non GMP and GMP stock and ensure stock levels are maintained to support manufacturing plans
Ensure all stock for GMP use is checked in and appropriately store
Pick and deliver materials for manufacturing runs
Stock count and maintain accurate inventory records including consumption by users, providing data for financial reporting
Facility qualification and preventative maintenance activities for storage areas
Control of incoming materials programme, as needed
Ensure there are SOPs/Forms for GMP storage procedures
Ensure storage areas (including 3rd parties) are maintained to adequate standards, with regular cleaning, equipment checks and good housekeeping
Raise and progress deviations related to GMP stock issues and implementing CAPA
Supply Chain Manager - Requirements:
Possess extensive experience in supply chain, transport, and logistics
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage commercial relationships with logistics service providers
Practical knowledge of the physical aspects of international supply chains
Possess an analytical and data-driven mindset
People-centric leader with a track record of building and coaching high-performing teams, able to collaborate effectively across various teams and levels
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a dedication to understanding root causes and the ability to break down complex issues into key components
Strong passion for improving processes and efficiency, implementing controls, utilising data, tracking performance, leveraging technology, and implementing automation
Comfortable with making rapid decisions, working in ambiguous situations, and adapting to changing priorities
