Mantell Associates is partnering with a leading CDMO, who are offering a Senior Sales role that requires a highly consultative sales and business development approach, a strategic mindset, as well as a commitment to high levels of execution of an aggressive growth plan for the company.

You will be supported with a leading Gene Therapy operation, quality assurance, process development, analytical development, and quality control teams as well as cross functional executive leadership team aligned to the mission. Your clients will have access to the latest and highly scaled facilities that are state of the art providing leading adherent and suspension for viral vectors, as well as other novel modalities.

Senior Sales Director Responsibilities:​

  • You will work closely with the executives in the organization to drive sales & development. Development goals and progression need to align with the organisations commercial strategies and objectives.

  • The organisations priority is to drive revenues up for this newly established growth business with the goal of filling to 75% capacity within 4 quarters.

  • Lead the collective in terms of knowledge of the pharmaceutical and life science segment, observe trends of the industry to maximise organisation progress and output.

  • Respond to proposals as soon as possible.

  • Deliver customised presentations to current and prospective clients.

  • Become the go to individual, when concerning customer queries.

  • Act as a commercial spearhead for colleagues, the candidate should aid in the progression of the people around around them, with their approach to sales.

Senior Sales Director Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals, or an area of life science/ Business course adequate for the position. Alternate degrees with the equivalent significant can also be considered.

  • Must have a established network of possibilities, with an equally successful sales career spanning a minimum of 3-7 years.

  • Has a good working relationship with others.

  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbally and in writing.
