Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a leading HEOR Consultancy in their search for a Senior Health Economics Consultant specialising in the design, development and communication of cost-effective and budget impact models.

Senior Health Economics Consultant - Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical lead on projects and provide strategic advice to clients

• Lead client communication and presentations

• Undertake development of model specifications, model development, model validation, statistical analysis and technical reporting

• Line manage more junior health economists

• Identify new project opportunities and develop proposals

• Provide technical and strategic direction, and Quality Control for research, data collection and referencing

• Advise, plan and perform a wide range of statistical analyses

• Manage projects of varying complexity, responsible for delivery projects within budget

• Deliver blogs and webinars

Senior Health Economics Consultant - Requirements:

• MSc Economic Evaluation in Healthcare or equivalent

• 3+ years' hands-on modelling experience

• Extensive experience of developing de novo model specifications, economic models, technical reports, and the economic sections of HTA submissions

• Experience mentoring junior staff on projects

• Project management and proposal development experience

• Proactive, self-motivated, and open to feedback

• Strong client communication and presentation

• Highly numerate and possess analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

• A keen eye for detail

• Excellent time-management and communication skills
