Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a Cell & Gene CDMO on their search for a Senior Director of Process Development to be part of their leadership team.

Senior Director of Process Development - Responsibilities:

• Align R&D activities with company goals and policies, following corporate development guidelines

• Lead, train, and develop the team to deploy development methodologies and enhance manufacturing processes' performance and robustness

• Ensure the transferability of processes to in-house and other production sites, meeting the expectations of recipient teams

• Deliver data to prepare production and QC documentation, plan production, and select compatible equipment for projects

• Provide scientific and technical support for production issues, including problem analysis, laboratory testing, and solution implementation

• Be a key member of the business's leadership team

Senior Director of Process Development - Requirements:

• Hold a minimum of an MSc. qualification

• Demonstrate proven leadership experience in R&D

• Possess experience in people management, including leading, developing, and coaching team members

• Exhibit exceptional leadership skills

• Prove the ability to gain trust and influence at all levels, promoting collaboration

• Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to address issues, design solutions, and apply critical thinking, analytical skills, and best practices
