Mantell Associates are partnered with one of the fast growing US Small Molecule CDMOs on their search for a Senior Director of Quality Assurance at their West Coast Site.
You'll be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Quality Assurance, function at the assigned location.
Senior Director of Quality Assurance - Responsibilities:
Responsible for development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of key quality systems that operate in accordance with corporate and business unit quality policies and regulatory agencies.
Evaluates the impact and effectiveness of changes to the quality systems and encourages others to identify improvements.
Responsible for developing and reviewing quality related metrics and ensuring that they are used to improve the processes, efficiency and quality of the product and/or systems.
Ensure key performance indicators measure progress against Quality objectives. Monitor, communicate and act on any emerging trends.
Oversee the preparation of monthly / quarterly reports for site and company management.
Senior Director of Quality Assurance - Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, math or related scientific field is generally required; advanced degree (Masters, PhD) is an asset
Generally, 10 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical quality oversight roles supporting manufacturing processes is required.
Generally, 7 years of people management experience.
